A little bit about the band.
Within months of being formed in 2005 by good friends from Hayward, California with a mutual love of funky music, Bulk had released a three song demo and was playing the Boom Boom Room in San Francisco. Fueled by the sound of classic American music like James Brown, The Meters, and Funkadelic, Bulk has been entertaining Bay Area audiences for the past five years, playing at The Shattuck Down Low, Jupiter, The Rockit Room, Grant and Green, Mojito, Blondie's, and many other music venues throughout the Bay Area. With two CDs under its belt and countless hours of playing and recording experience, Bulk is ready to serve up some raw cuts of funk with a generous helping of grease.
